This is a FREE site. You can download the study tools and not have to go online again to use them. The King James Version will download automatically with the initial download. I recommend that you download the Old and New Testament commentary, "Jamieson, Faucett, & Briggs" and the New Testament commentary, "Robertson's Word Studies." Some of the other commentaries can be useful, but they may have traces of Calvinism or other such doctrines which may trouble you. Contact me if some of those raise questions in your mind.

This is another FREE site. It provides 10 English Bible translations or paraphrases. Remember that a paraphrase is NOT a solid foundation on which to draw ultimate conclusions about what the scripture says - they are loose translations meant solely to make reading easier.
Simply use the search feature to find what you are looking for. The Amplified Bible is a good research tool and The Message is a good easy reading tool.
